Graduated in Naval Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo, he holds an MBA in Marketing Management from UNICEP and in Transportation from the University of Miami, as well as specialization courses in aeronautical management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical College and industrial administration from Fundação Vanzolini, USP .
In the engineering Department of TAM Airlines he worked on the introduction of service bulletins and complex repairs in structures; defined and implemented the company's first composite materials workshop, and participated in the founding of TAM's MRO in São Carlos. There, he worked as Maintenance, Customer Support and Engineering Manager.
